Neighborhood's to Phinista Cafe

I actually feel sick to my stomach. Could it be the anxiousness or excitement to come? Maybe it’s both that’s really making it a struggle to form adequate words to express the endless thoughts racing through my mind. In less than eloquent words, I’ll try my best to share this exciting news.

Phinista in Los Angeles!

This morning I saw my partner and fiancée cry as she watched a video with clips of hospital frontline workers fighting for their patient’s lives. She told me she can’t even comprehend why these healthcare staff can continue what they do day after day. Like, money is okay, but no money is enough to put your life at risk and sacrifice your precious time with your own family. But you know, it makes sense. People in healthcare didn’t sign up for this mess. They didn’t sign up to watch a person deteriorate in front of their eyes. They signed up because they have so much love to give that this was the only way to give it. They give their time, comfort, and most of all their life. I tried to even reason and say, maybe over time they become desensitized to people’s deaths and pain. But I know for a fact each patient saved, makes their love and sacrifice worth it. Worth it to keep going. Worth it and fight another day. Team Phinista loves you all. Keep fighting, we’ve got your back. -Phi, Co- owner of Phinista

Phinista Pops Up for Autism!

With the cold weather, coronavirus, and other less than optimal situations arising, Phinista continued to participate in Tet in Boston, a cultural cerebration in Boston cerebrating the Lunar New Year. Although the number in attendance was less than previous years, Phinista was able to donate 10% of it’s profit to Vong Tay Cha Me, which is a local Vietnamese group of activists that hosts events, support, and education to families with mental disabilities, with a focus on autism. Thank you all for you support and for your golden hearts!
